Meet the Trailblazers Guiding Trask's Expansion into the US and Canada
As part of its global expansion plan, European solutions integrator Trask has initiated entry into North America, emphasizing the financial services industry, targeting banking, capital markets, and insurance specifically. To cater to these clients’ business needs, Trask will provide solutions addressing digital enablement, and cybersecurity needs, enabling its clients to accelerate growth, improve operational effectiveness and better manage risk.

We have been helped by the leaders steering our anticipated North American expansion: Veterans of Americas professional services business John Weisel, John Armstrong, and David Loffredo will help us lead our anticipated North American expansion.
The leader of our North American initiatives is the seasoned industry veteran John Weisel. John comes to Trask with 35 years of experience in the professional services sector. He is a recognized leader in driving market and services expansion, spearheading talent development, and driving profitable revenue globally.
His impressive portfolio includes supporting many global clients in the financial services industry. His contributions have spanned business strategy, business and technology transformation, digital solutions, and managed services. John's diverse industry experience includes banking, capital markets, insurance, wealth and asset management, and private markets sectors.
Previously, Weisel held executive global leadership roles as a managing partner with EY and Accenture. He led the development of several multi billion dollar revenue businesses around the globe. He has advanced degrees in economics and finance and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
Complementing John's efforts in Canada is John Armstrong, a Senior Advisor to Trask Solutions. Armstrong, a Senior Fellow at the C.D. Howe Institute, was previously the National Industry Leader for Financial Services at KPMG Canada. His responsibilities included driving KPMG's "Connected Enterprise" business in a global role, and he served on several global leadership teams. Armstrong, a community leader, has an MBA from Harvard University and holds the Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D designation.
Rounding out this powerhouse team is David Loffredo, the Trask - Capital Markets and Fintech Leader. With over 30 years of experience consulting for leading financial services firms, Dave divided his career between management consulting and the financial services industry. He was a pioneer in retail banking and electronic trading and opened business operations in the US, UK, and China. Prior, Dave was the Managing Director of Change Management for Lehman Brothers where he executed the bank's strategy and subsequently was the first COO of Bloomberg Tradebook.
With the expertise and leadership of John Weisel, John Armstrong, and David Loffredo, Trask is primed for a significant expansion into the US and Canadian markets.
